Biography/Details

Program Director, Dr. Dianthe Hoffman's nursing career spans over 30 years specializing in a variety of fields and roles, including US Navy Nurse, NICU, pediatrics, M/S, public health and nursing education.  After completing her DNP in 2021, she transitioned into the role of associate professor at Westmont College. She has been the program director since May 2023. Her expertise and experience in nursing and nursing education have allowed her to facilitate the success of future nurses. Dr. Hoffman leads with a goal of empowering students and ensuring they are well-equipped to enter the field. Her research focuses on facilitating skills building among student nurses to improve resilience.
